A female photographer claims to have gotten slapped on her face by Jude Law outside of a London restaurant.
She asserted it was a deliberate hit. However, Jude Law’s lawyer responded that it was an accident, because
when Law went out of the restaurant there was a lot of confusion. He shielded himself from the photographers' lights and thus he flailed his arms around. Then he inadvertently struck the woman in the face. In the end, he apologized to the woman.

One important detail: Pictures of this sort can often be misleading. But.... he has had his brush-ups with snappers before.....

Vocabulary from this article is "Inadvertently" (adv)

It means by accident; without intending to

Example sentence : We had inadvertently left without paying the bill.

My place

If you visited my apartment, this is what you would see.

As you entered, to at the right there is a queen size bed. In front of you, you would see a floor lump and a white TV stand.

On top of this stand you would see a large flat screen TV. Beyond the TV, directory in front of you, you would see a wide window facing North-west. This area is both my bed room and my living room.  If you walked into my living room passed the TV and turned right, you would see my work desk. On the top of the work desk, you would notice my PC and my printer. If you turned to your right, you would be facing my small kitchen and you would see my refrigerator and my stove. Next, if you returned to the entry door and walked to the left of it, you would be in a long hallway. As you walked down this hallway you would see a walk-in closet on your right and my bath room at the end of the hallway.

Lindsay Lohan Snubbed 'Hangover' Role

This article about Lindsay Lohan from Hollywood.com

http://www.hollywood.com/news/Lohan_Snubbed_Hangover_Role/5665794

1;} The main idea.

Lohan had a hard time getting new roles because of her unprofessional and irresponsible behavior.  When finally she was offered a role, she made the mistake of believing that the script had no potential.  In my opinion, she should have taken this job. If she
had , she could have got back to being a star.

2;} The supporting point.

The movie was a huge success. This made Lohan's mistake even bigger.

3;} One vocabulary

My weekend and Cerablation !!

Hi! Everyone! How was your weekend? I hope you had beautiful weekend. Actually, my 23 years anniversary was July 13! I spent with my close friend on Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, my friend brought me a Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin (champagne) and a birthday cake. I was really happy. We had good time. On Monday, my friend took me to Shiro-sushi in Belltown. It was so good. I recommend to go there if you like sushi. This place is my favorite sushi bar in Seattle. I heard from their chief, Ichiro (a famous Japanese baseball player(Mariners)) come to Shiro-sushi once in a while. It's good place to have dinner. And when I came back home, there was birthday gift from my friend front of my door! It was unexpected and I was surprised! I immediately called my friend and said THANK YOU. I have always celebrate my birthday with my best friend in Japan. So I was thinking it was going to be lonely birthday, but I relieved. It was really nice weekend .

Who am I admire the most!?

Hi! Everyone! Today's assignments are 1, " Which celebrity do you admire the most?" 2, "Would you like to be famous? Why? Why not?" and 3, " Do you think there is a relationship between celebrity and beauty?" First, I admire TOUHOSHINKI the most! Touhoshinki is Korean a sing and dance group. They are good looking, got beautiful voices and their performances are fantastic! They must be practicing very hard.
Second, I would not like to be famous. I would like to be an actor if I were very very beautiful. But in fact, celebrities have no privacy. There are always paparazzi chasing them. I would not want them to take my picture if I got fat or if I did not look good in a bikini.
Third, in my opinion, there is a clear relationship between celebrity and beauty. Most Celebrities are naturally beautiful and in addition they have money to take care of their beauty. Maybe some of them even get plastic surgery if they have some wrinkles. Most people dream of being famous. However, the life of a celebrity is not entirely worry free. Famous people cannot just walk down the street like a "normal" person. They need to make sure that they look beautiful at all times. If not, paparazzi will publish their pictures looking fat or without make-up in the tabloids and the whole world will see them in these unflattering poses. In addition to this, celebrities are always at risk of being mobbed by their fans and of being attacked by criminals.

no article title ( sorry , I lost it)

Los Angeles Times reports that it appears that Michael Jackson had been using a very powerful prescription drug called Diprivan . We don't know if this drug has caused Michael Jackson's death. Toxicology results will take several weeks to be known. The American Society of Anesthesiologists has issued a warning saying that this drug should not be used except in a controlled and monitored medical setting. The Los Angeles police is investigating whether the doctors have prescribe Diprivan to MJ properly or improperly.

Introduction !

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Let me talk a little bit about myself. I was born in Kanagawa, in Japan.  Of course I am a native Japanese speaker.  I have an elder sister sister who works as a pastry chef.  She always make fantastic cakes and breads!  I really like to eat what she makes.  I graduated from a commercial high school in my home town.  I know a little bit about programming .  After graduating from high school I worked for two years in a real estate company and then in a cosmetic company, both of them located in Tokyo.  I enjoyed living in Tokyo but I wanted to learn English in a place that is not so busy.  So my American friend encouraged me to study English in the US.  I visited several cities in America, including Seattle, which I liked the best.  So I have now been studying English at SCCC for 3 months.  I believe SCCC is good place to study!  I'm still thinking about my future job.  I'm interested in travel and I hope I can get a job with an English travel agency.  I want to keep traveling all over the world.  It is a great pleasure to learn about different cultures, different countries, and different people.  My American, friend who knows me very well, describes me with such adjectives as "shy, ambitious, modest, faithful, loyal, determined, stubborn, and indecisive".  I think the description is pretty accurate.  I like to hang out with friends and practice my English conversational skills.  If you would like to hang out and converse in English, please contact me any time!
